I don't know the first thing about what it takes to fix whatever is broken, or setup whatever needs to be done, so I am grateful to have someone on board who does, and who is willing to go in and do the work. Out of curiosity, what is it that needs to be redone? Is it a matter of reading through the code and recoding bugs? Or are we just giving up on VB and setting up a new Swamp on phb and resetting the rules of the board their? I genuinely have no clue what is involved in anything beyond posting on a board.

Syb, basically the database needs to be tweaked so that it works with PhpBB (users, past posts, etc.) Then the code that makes up the VB board deleted and the PhpBB code put in then loaded with the old DB.
Or just delete and install phpbb, matters how the tweaking goes.
